Turner TT. De Graaf's thread: the human epididymis. J Androl. 2008;29(3):237–250.

The section "Anatomy of the Human Epididymis" states "Anatomy texts commonly report the uncoiled epididymal tubule to be 6–7 m in length, though the source of this estimate is unknown" (239). Dr Rupert Amann recently provided the author with the following reference in which the investigators used morphology and volume approximations to estimate the length of the human epididymal tubule to be 5–6 m in length.
