erratum corrects the listing of authors and institutions for the above
manuscript published in the Journal of Andrology. The list of
authors' names in the originally published article included only Fangxiong Shi
and Tian Wang, from the Laboratory of Animal Reproduction, College of Animal
Science and Technology, Nanjing Agricultural University, Nanjing, China. The
author's list should also have included Emerson Perez, Betsy Peitz, and Philip
S. LaPolt, from the Department of Biological Sciences, California State
University, Los Angeles, Calif, with the authors' names to be listed in the
correct order as follows.

text is the sole responsibility of the corresponding author, Fangxiong Shi,
who regrets its use and the failure to properly attribute the source of this
